I went for the first time and will definitely be going back. My Mum and I had the afternoon tea and it was one of the best I've had. Sandwiches were catered for us based on any allergies and dietary preferences and the cakes and scones were plentiful and delicious. Service was fantastic as was the general atmosphere inside. Would definitely recommend!

We had a lovely afternoon tea for 5 people this afternoon. The food was fabulous you can choose from the menu teas, coffees and soft drinks and for an extra price you can also have alcohol. We were so full up and could not manage all so they provided us with a takeaway box to take home. The staff Couldn’t do enough for us too. With great decor as well this is far by the best up market place around here.

We love May's, I am Head of Activities at Maples Care Home, just around the corner from the cafe. We take our residents for tea and cake twice a month and the staff a very accommodating and friendly. They make us feel so welcome. The residents really enjoy our outing to the cafe and look forward to the next visit. Thank you again for looking after us.

Well what can I say! Drove past most days and thought I must try. My daughter's birthday was a good excuse to book. Staff are just lovely. They were all very accommodating when we visited for afternoon tea. My granddaughter has additional needs and they were very helpful in creating a lunch to fit her needs. Afternoon tea was gorgeous,!

Just visited Mays of London to celebrate my friends 60th birthday. Had a lovely time, and the food was fresh with the best shortbread swirl. Thank you for having us, and we will be back. Great now you have your licence as the sparkles made it extra special.

A hidden gem. When I walked in I instantly felt happy and as I got to the counter I was overwhelmed to discover a selection of vegan, dairy free cakes and muffins. The coffee was delicious and the brownie I chose was off the scale. A delightful place to catch up with friends or to sit and work. They stock a range of handbags and accessories too including an extensive vegan range. 4-5 of parking spaces in front of the shop. And a car park nearby if it’s busy. Highly recommend!

We were greeted with happy smiling staff that made you feel very welcome, from start to finish. We didn't have a very long wait at all for the food either, which was presented very beautifully. The pulled pork flatbread we had was 10/10 lish as was the homemade cakes. The portion size was substantial and the taste heavenly. Everywhere was clean and tables cleared quickly. We'd like to keep this place our little secret, but it would be rude not to share
